Jana Šilerová
Jana Šilerová (born December 31, 1950 in Znojmo ) is a Czech theologian and former bishop of the Czechoslovak Hussite Church .
Life
Šilerová studied at the Charles University in Prague. In 1974 she was consecrated . From 1974 to 1981 she was pastor in the Hussite parish of Vratimov and then from 1981 to 1984 pastor in the parish of Kunčice pod Ondřejníkem . Since 1984 she has been pastor in the parish of Rychvald and Bohumín . From 1999 to 2013, Šilerová succeeded Vlastimil Zítek as Bishop of the Czechoslovak Hussite Church in the Hussite diocese of Olomouc. From 2001 to 2007 she was a member of the Czech Television Council.
