Athletic career
Janaka Wimalasari gained his first international experience at the 2014 Asian Games in Incheon , where he reached 15th place with 7.22 m. Four years later, he took part for the first time in the Commonwealth Games in the Australian Gold Coast , where he finished seventh with 7.89 m.
