Jane Brucker
Jane Rachel Brucker (born May 14, 1958 in Falls Church , Virginia ) is an American actress .
Life
Brucker completed her acting training at the North Carolina School of the Arts. She gained her first stage experience with the improv group First Amendment in New York City. She became world famous in 1987 for her role as Lisa Houseman in the dance film Dirty Dancing . After that she appeared in a few films and television series until the late 1980s. After that she only took on roles sporadically.
From 1986 to 1993 she was married to actor Brian Edward O'Connor . The marriage resulted in a daughter in 1989. In 2001 she married the photographer Raul Vega, with whom she has another daughter (* 2004). Brucker lives with her family in Los Angeles .
