Janet Koehler

Janet Köhler (born March 11, 1987 in Hoyerswerda ) is a German badminton and crossminton player and policewoman.

Career

After numerous Saxon and junior titles, Janet Köhler won her first medal at German championships in 2007 with bronze in the women's singles. In 2008, 2009 and 2010 further medal wins in singles, doubles and with the team followed.

In 2011 she became the first female speed badminton world champion . At the third championship, now known as the Crossminton World Cup, Köhler, who lives in Berlin, took second place among the women after world number one Jasmina Keber from Slovenia.
