Janett Eger

Janett Eger (born January 2, 1985 in Magdeburg ) is a German journalist and presenter . From 2015 to 2019 she moderated the magazine Einfach genial and since 2019 she has moderated the MDR journey through time .

Life

Even during her studies (international journalism at the University of Bremen ), Eger worked as a radio journalist for the MDR Saxony-Anhalt. After graduating from university, she completed an editorial traineeship at MDR from 2009 to 2010.

She then reported as a reporter and video journalist for MDR Sachsenspiegel . She was also active on the radio by producing radio reports in Studio Bautzen for MDR Radio Sachsen.

In 2015 Eger moved to Leipzig and took over the afternoon program of MDR television as a live reporter. At the same time she trained video journalists for the MDR BildungsCentrum. From April 2016 to 2019, as the successor to Matze Brandt, she moderated the inventor magazine Einfach genial (magazine) of MDR television. In April 2019 she took over the moderation of the history magazine MDR Zeitreise , replacing Mirko Drotschmann as moderator.
