Jannes Wolters (born June 22, 1979 in Emmen ) is a Dutch football player. He is currently under contract as a defender at the Dutch first division club FC Emmen .

Career

Wolters began his sporting career with the Emmen amateur clubs WKE and Drenthina. He made his professional football debut on March 7, 1998 at FC Emmen when he was substituted on in the last minute of the league game against FC Den Bosch . Between 2000 and 2003 he played three seasons with AZ Alkmaar . Then he returned to FC Emmen.

He is a nephew of the popular singer Jannes
