The Janoskians ( acronym for J ust A nother N ame O f S illy K ids I n A nother N ation) are an Australian YouTube comedy group from Melbourne , Australia .

Members

The group includes twin brothers Jaidon Domenic Matthew Brooks and Luke Anthony Marc Brooks (born May 3, 1995), their older brother Beau Peter Brooks (born July 31, 1993) and their friends James Anthony Yammouni (born February 27, 1996) and Daniel "Skip" John Sahyounie (born October 31, 1994). All 5 were born in Glenroy, Moreland City , Melbourne. James left the comedy group in June 2016.

YouTube videos

The Janoskians YouTube channel was created on July 4th, 2011. In September 2011 they released their first video. Her videos essentially consist of pranks that the five group members do in the unsuspecting public (simulating various actions, sleeping, screaming) as well as skits . You have over 150 million video views. On June 23, 2013, the group reached over 1,000,000 subscribers on their YouTube channel. There are now over 2,000,000. They also have other channels. Among other things, TwinTalkTime (almost 500,000 subscribers / created on June 19, 2013). On this video mainly the twins Jai and Luke post videos in which they discuss certain topics, from time to time the other guys also appear in their TwinTalkTime videos. Every Sunday they post challenges on their daresundays (over a million subscribers / created on January 29, 2012) channel in which they mostly have to complete painful tasks.

In 2012 the five members of the group signed a contract with Sony Music Australia. Her debut single "Set This World on Fire" was released in September 2012. The Janoskians later got their own Vevo channel on YouTube, which featured an official video for their song on October 9th. In March 2013 the Janoskians announced the collaboration with musician Jay Sean , in whose music video for his single "Where You Are" they appeared. On May 17, 2013 her new single "Best Friends" was released. It arrived at # 1 on the iTunes - charts in countries such as Sweden, into the top 10 in several countries around the world, in the top 100 of the US iTunes charts and number 11 in the UK iTunes charts . Her first EP, Would U Love Me , was released on March 6, 2015 .
