Janric Fraser Craig, 3rd Viscount Craigavon , (born June 9, 1944 ) is a British peer and chartered accountant. With the passage of the House of Lords Act 1999 , he lost the automatic seat in the House of Lords along with all other Hereditary Peers. However, he was elected as one of the 92 elected Hereditary Peers to remain in the House after the reform. He belongs to the group of Crossbenchers .

James Craig's son , 2nd Viscount Craigavon , was born in Ulster to an important family and educated at Eton College and the University of London . He graduated from there with a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Science . In 1974 he inherited his father's titles. Lord Craigavon ​​is a member of the board of directors of the Anglo-Austrian Society . In 1998 he was awarded the Order of the Lion of Finland in the Komtur class, furthermore he was awarded the Swedish North Star Order in the Commander class in 2005 and the Dannebrog Order as a knight in 2006.

He was a trustee in the Progress Educational Trust and is now on its advisory board.

He is single and childless.
