Jarinu is a smaller city in the Brazilian state of São Paulo . In 2018, an estimated 29,456 residents lived in Jarinu. The city is one hour from Campinas and one hour from São Paulo and lies in a hilly landscape 755 m above sea level. Around the city there are several larger nature reserves.
Jarinu was chosen a few years ago by UNESCO as the city with the second best climate in the world. As a result, there are also some larger hotels and spa hotels.
In recent years, more and more people from São Paulo have moved to the small city. Mostly only to escape the stress of the big city and relax on the weekend.
