Jarosław Kurski (born July 18, 1963 in Gdansk ) is a Polish journalist and deputy editor-in-chief of Gazeta Wyborcza .

Kurski joined an anti-communist organization before the fall of the Wall and wrote for underground magazines. He also served three months in prison on charges of assaulting a police officer. Kurski denies this incident. At the end of 1989 Kurski became the press spokesman for Lech Wałęsa . He resigned this post in July 1990 and became a journalist at Gazeta Wyborcza.

He is the brother of the politician Jacek Kurski .
