Jasmin Grabowski , until 2019 Jasmin Külbs (born November 7, 1991 in Speyer ) is a German judoka .

Life

After graduating from the Heinrich-Heine-Gymnasium in Kaiserslautern, she joined the armed forces as a sports soldier.

successes

Külbs is multiple German heavyweight champion. She finished 7th at the 2008 European Championships and the 2009 World Cup (U20). At the EM (U23) 2012 she won the bronze medal for Germany. She also won several medals in World Cup and Grand Prix tournaments.

At the 2013 European Championships in Budapest, she took fifth place in the over 78 kg class, and won the bronze medal at the 2014 European Championships in Montpellier. At the 2015 European Games she won the silver medal. In 2016 she took part in the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro , but retired with a first-round defeat.

Shortly after their marriage, she finished fifth at the Grand Slam tournament in Brasília in 2019 .
