Jasmin Nunige (* 28. December 1973 in Davos as Jasmin Baumann ) is a Swiss ultra marathon runner and former cross-country skier . She works as a medical masseuse in Davos.

She began her elite sports career as a cross-country skier. In 1994 she started at the Olympic Winter Games in Lillehammer over 5 km classic and 10 km freestyle. A year later she took part in the Nordic World Ski Championships . Due to injuries and pressure to perform, she resigned in 1998 at the age of 24.

She married the French athlete Guy Nunige, who works as a private trainer. The couple have two children, a son and a daughter. As a result, Jasmin Nunige took up running , completing both city ​​marathons and mountain runs .

In March 2011 Jasmin Nunige was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis . Despite this inflammatory nervous disease, she decided to continue with top-class sport. Three months after the diagnosis, she won the Liechtenstein Marathon for the first time . She won this mountain run four times in a row. At her home race, the Swiss Alpine Marathon in Davos, she celebrated a total of seven victories over the main 78 km distance between 2005 and 2016. In 2016 she won the 90-kilometer Ultravasan in Sweden in a new record time.

In addition to working in her massage practice, Nunige gives presentations and is completing further training as a sports mental coach.
