Jasmin Spahić (born September 22, 1980 in Mostar , SFR Yugoslavia ) is a Bosnian football player .

Career

Jasmin Spahić began playing football in the youth departments of FK Željezničar Sarajevo and Turbina Jablanica in Bosnia and moved to Germany for Hamburger SV in 1997 , where he made it to the second team. For the 2001/02 season he moved to Kickers Emden , with whom he rose to the Regionalliga Nord in 2005 and played in the new 3rd division from 2008 . In September 2008 he was nominated for the goal of the month of the ARD - Sportschau . On March 28, 2009 Spahić pulled a patellar tendon rupture in the game against Fortuna Düsseldorf . He had already had an operation on the patellar tendon two weeks earlier. After Kickers Emden had voluntarily withdrawn into the league after the 2008/09 season for licensing reasons, he left the club.
