Jasmin Thienemann (born July 16, 1998 in Schleswig-Holstein ) is a German sumōtori .

Career

After several years in judo , Thienemann switched to sumo. She particularly likes the high speed during the competitions. Thienemann has been training in the Sarkwitzer SV Sumo Association Germany since 2012 and is multiple German champion and vice-European champion in 2013. At the 2015 World Cup in Osaka Japan , she started in the U18 group for women up to 60 kg. There she reached fourth place.
