Jasmine Bonnin

Jasmine Bonnin (born February 20, 1952 in Casablanca , Morocco ) is a German singer and songwriter .

Life

At the age of four, Jasmine Bonnin sang in the children's choir of the RIAS in Berlin . She attended the French grammar school in Berlin. After graduating from high school, she studied Romance studies and geography at the FU Berlin for teaching at grammar schools .

Bonnin was a member of the band Das Fenster , which released the long-playing record Doch wir . From 1974 to 1981 she released three solo albums. Bonnin wrote most of the lyrics herself. On some pieces she not only sings, but also plays the guitar. The best- known track of their first album Loosened Hair is Streets of Our City , a remake of Streets of London . The 1979 album No Fear contains the title track of the television series The Fear I Live With .

She also works occasionally as an actress.
