Jason Gore (born May 17, 1974 in Van Nuys , California ) is an American professional golfer on the PGA TOUR .

Career

He attended Pepperdine University , and after Gore played on the US Walker Cup team in 1997 , he became a professional golfer that year .

He turned to the runner-up Nationwide Tour , where Gore won his first tournament in 2000. Two more successes came in 2002, and in the first half of the 2005 season he got three tournament victories. As a result, Gore was immediately eligible to play for the big PGA TOUR and shortly afterwards won his first title at the 84 LUMBER Classic .

He is married to his wife Megan and has a son named Jaxson. The family lives in Valencia, California .
