The Jato-Nunatak is a small, yet distinctive nunatak in East Antarctica, Victoria Land . It towers at the northern end of the Barker Range in the Victory Mountains .
The southern group of the New Zealand Federated Mountain Clubs Antarctic Expedition (1962–1963) named it after the JATO thrust system in US aircraft for the transport of large loads.
