Javier Rodríguez Venta , known as Javi Venta (born December 13, 1975 in Oviedo ), is a Spanish football player who currently plays for Brentford FC . He is a right defender .
Career
Venta began his career in Real Oviedo's youth team , where he was brought to the first team in 1995. In the 1996/97 season he was under contract with Marino de Luanco. After only a year he left the club and played two seasons with Gimnástica de Torrelavega before moving to Villarreal in 1999 . He was awarded by FC for a total of three seasons (1999/00 to CD Onda, 2000/01 to Racing de Ferrol and 2001/02 to CD Tenerife ). He then played from the 2002/03 season to the 2010/11 season for Villarreal. In August 2010 he moved to UD Levante in the Segunda División and was able to rise again to the Primera División in the first year.
