Jay Dahlgren
Jay Dahlgren (actually Judith Dahlgren; born December 7, 1948 in Vancouver ) is a former Canadian javelin thrower .
In 1966 she won bronze at the British Empire and Commonwealth Games in Kingston ; She was seventh in the discus throw and eighth in the shot put .
The following year she also won the bronze medal at the Pan American Games in Winnipeg in 1967 . At the 1968 Olympic Games in Mexico City she came in 13th place, and at the British Commonwealth Games in Edinburgh in 1970 she won bronze again.
She has been the Canadian Javelin Throwing Champion seven times. Her personal best in this discipline of 56.88 m she set on August 27, 1974 in Winnipeg .
