Jay Nordlinger
Jay Nordlinger (* 1963 ) is an American journalist who writes for the National Review . He also writes the “Impromptus” column on the “National Review Online” portal. Nordlinger comments on a wide range of content such as human rights as well as China and Cuba .
He is also known for his cultural criticism in music and literature. Since 2003 he has hosted a number of interviews and lectures at the Salzburg Festival .
Awards
In 2001 Nordlinger received the Eric Breindel Award . The prize is intended to honor journalists who have shown "love for their country and its democratic institutions". In the same year Nordlinger also won the annual "Chan Foundation for Journalism and Culture" award.
