JazzRadio Berlin is a regional private radio program in Berlin . It is a regional information and service program with jazz music of various subgenres.

General

The program organizer is New JazzRadio GmbH, in which Fujairah Media FZ LLC and three individuals hold shares . The “Friends of JazzRadio” listener club is there to help retain listeners and support the broadcaster.

The program consists of jazz music and a word share of 10 to 15 percent. This includes news, program information on cultural and jazz events in Berlin and advertising. The six different jazz styles that make up the program are also deepened in weekly special programs.

reception

JazzRadio Berlin could be received from 1996 on FM 101.9 MHz in Berlin ( Jazz Radio und Verlag GmbH ). After a change of frequency and operator on December 1, 2010, the program can be received on the Scholzplatz station on FM 106.8 MHz, as well as in the cable network and as a live stream on the station's website.

In Rostock, after licensing by Jazz Radio Deutschland GmbH & Co KG, the program could be received via the Rostock-Toitenwinkel transmitter on FM 105.6 MHz from March 13, 2015 to June 1, 2020.
