The Jbel Tassemit ( Central Atlas Tamazight : Adrar n'Aklim or Aklim n'Ouinisdrar ) is an approx. 2205 m high mountain on the northwestern edge of the Middle Atlas near the Moroccan city of Beni Mellal . In the winter months, its summit is often covered with snow.
Location and ascent
Jbel Tassemit is located about 10 km (as the crow flies) southeast of the city of Beni Mellal. A piste road leads up to an altitude of approx. 1850 m ; the further ascent can be done on foot in about an hour.
