The Béni Mellal-Khénifra region ( Arabic بني ملال خنيفرة) is one of the - after an administrative reform in 2015 - newly created 12 regions of Morocco and extends in the north of the kingdom. The name of the region is derived from the two large cities Beni-Mellal and Khénifra . The capital of the region is the city of Beni Mellal.
