Jean-Baptiste Duvernoy
Jean-Baptiste Duvernoy (born May 11, 1801 Varzy , † March 16, 1880 in Paris ) was a French pianist and composer of the Romantic period. He taught at the Conservatoire de Paris. He wrote more than 300 works. His etude works such as the Ecole primaire op. 176 (25 etudes for elementary instruction) are still in use today .
