Jean-Baptiste Salme
Jean-Baptiste Salme (born November 18, 1766 in Aillianville , Haute-Marne Department, † May 27, 1811 ) was a French Général de division of the Revolutionary and Imperial times .
He fell on May 27, 1811 during the siege of Tarragona in a storm against Fort Olivo .
His name can be found on the west pillar of the Arc de Triomphe in Paris in rows 37 and 38. He was a holder of the Order of the Legion of Honor .
