Jean-Charles Roman d'Amat

Jean-Charles Roman d'Amat (born May 12, 1887 in Picomtal , † March 29, 1976 in Versailles ) was a French archivist and paleographer . He was a son of the historian Joseph Roman (1840-1924). As a graduate of the École nationale des chartes and employee of the Bibliothèque nationale de France , he was one of the editors of the Dictionnaire de biographie française from the first volume (1932) .
