Jean-Marie Cuoq (born September 21, 1968 ) is a French rally driver .

Career

Jean-Marie Cuoq won the French Gravel Rally Championship in 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2010. In 2007, he also won the French Asphalt Rally Championship. In 2008 he was stripped of this title because Cuoq's racing license and that of his co-driver David Marty were suspended for 24 months.

With his debut in the World Rally Championship in the 2007 season , Cuoq reached ninth place in the Monte Carlo Rally with a privately entered Peugeot 307 WRC . In his second World Championship outing the following year, he finished seventh overall in the Peugeot 307 WRC and, as the best-placed privateer, scored two World Championship points. In the 2010 season he took part in a single round of the World Rally Championship, again with a privately entered Peugeot 307 WRC, and drove the Rally Portugal , but was eliminated. In the same year Cuoq started again in the French gravel rally championship and won several rallies and the title there.
