Jean-Marie Lawniczak (born September 28, 1942 in Waziers , Département Nord ) is a former French football player and coach.

Career

Lawniczak began his career at FC Metz in the second division . In the first season there he was used 25 times, after which he was a substitute for a long time. In 1967 he rose, again as the first goalkeeper, with the team in the first division . In 1969 he moved to the second division US Boulogne . A year later he left the club and played for three years for the US Valenciennes . In the first season, at the end of which was relegation, he was a regular goalkeeper. When he was promoted again in the following season he no longer played a major role and in the third season he was no longer used. He then moved to the second division JGA Nevers , where he ended his active career after another year. In the same year he started at CS Vittel in the second division as a coach. However, the club was relegated. From then on he worked for Racing Paris , most of the time as a trainer. After a stopover at RC Besançon , he returned to Paris in 1993, where he remained a coach until 2000. Then he ended his coaching career.
