Jean-Paul Besset
Jean-Paul Besset (born August 17, 1946 in Chamalières , Département Puy-de-Dôme ) is a French journalist and politician of the Les Verts .
Life
As a freelance journalist, Besset worked for RTL , Le Matin , Liberation , Politis and Le Monde from 1967 to 2005 . From 1974 to 1985 Besset was a member of the Ligue communiste révolutionnaire and in 1985 switched to the Les Verts party . Besset has been a member of the European Parliament since 2009 .
MEP
Besset belongs to The Greens / European Free Alliance (Greens / EFA) and is a member of the Committee on Economic and Monetary Affairs and of the delegation for relations with the Mashreq countries .
