Jean-Pierre Giudicelli (born February 20, 1943 in Pau ) is a former French pentathlete .
Career
Giudicelli took part in the Olympic Games in Mexico City in 1968 and in Munich in 1972 . With the team he won the bronze medal in 1968 behind Hungary and the Soviet Union . In addition to Giudicelli, this consisted of Lucien Guiguet and Raoul Gueguen . In the individual competition, after showing the weakest performance in the field of fencing, he did not get beyond the 37th place. In 1972 he improved to 22nd place, as he made up for his weak fencing performance with the fourth-best time in the cross-country run. With the team, however, it was only enough for seventh place.
