Jean-Pierre Guillebaud
Jean-Pierre Guillebaud (born December 2, 1805 in Geneva ; † May 2, 1888 there ) was a Swiss architect .
Live and act
Guillebaud, the son of a carpenter, attended the École d'Architecture in Geneva and the École des Beaux Arts in Paris , there as a student of Louis-Pierre Baltard . A trip to Italy followed from 1831 to 1832.
As a permanent architect of the Société économique , he was commissioned with most of the school buildings, church renovations and other public buildings in the canton of Geneva . In 1848, together with Jean-Daniel Blavignac, he founded the professional association of architects, the Société des Architectes de Genève .
