Jean-Pierre Maradan (born February 19, 1954 ) is a former Swiss football player .

Jean-Pierre Maradan played his children's football up to the B-Juniors at FC Deitingen. In 1970 he moved to FC Grenchen and played there in the junior Interregional and in the first team in the National League B and after the rise in 1971 in the National League A . After the 1972-73 season , the team rose again.

In 1976 he then moved back to FC Basel in the NLA . Despite many player personalities (Mundschin, Stohler , Geisser, Maissen , Ramseier and Fischli played in Basel at the time), right-footer Maradan quickly became a regular. With Basel he was two-time Swiss champion and Swiss cup finalist in 1982. He was Alpine Cup winner and four-time watch cup winner . In the watch cup final of 1983 he scored the goal, by penalty, to the 1-0 win against FC Zurich .

After his successful time in Basel, he returned to Grenchen to his family and to FC Grenchen in 1984 .
