Jean Samazeuilh
Jean-Pierre Samazeuilh (born January 17, 1891 in Bordeaux , † April 13, 1965 in Mérignac ) was a French tennis player .
In 1921 Samazeuilh won the French tennis championships with a four-set victory over last year's winner André Gobert (6: 3, 6: 3, 2: 6 and 7: 5) after he had already been in the final in 1914; at that time he had to admit defeat to his compatriot Max Décugis in four sets 6: 3, 1: 6, 4: 6 and 4: 6. In 1922 he reached the final a third and last time, but lost to Henri Cochet in three sets with 6: 8, 3: 6 and 5: 7.
