Jean-Yves Tilliette
Jean-Yves Tilliette (born January 26, 1954 in Paris ) is a French Middle Latin philologist.
Life
After the Agrégation des lettres in 1976 he was a lecturer in Latin at the universities of Paris 8 (1976–1978), then Paris-XII (1978–1979). On July 2, 1981, he completed his PhD in Latin Rhetoric and Poetics among Medieval Latin Poets . Since 1990 he has taught as a full professor for medieval Latin language and literature at the Faculté des lettres of the University of Geneva .
