Jean Guisnel

Jean Guisnel (born September 8, 1951 in Rennes ) is a French journalist and publicist .

Life

Guisnel first attended the Écoles Normales d'Instituteurs in Rennes from 1971 to 1972 , during which time he co-founded the alternative news agency Agence de Presse Liberation (APL). He then left the École and helped set up the daily newspaper Liberation . Guisnel became editor in the politics department and finally in 1991 deputy editor-in-chief of the newspaper. In 1996 he left the paper and became a military and intelligence expert for the weekly Le Point , where he runs the blog Défense ouverte .

He was a listener at the Institut des Hautes Études de Défense Nationale and from 1999 to 2005 adjunct ( professeurs associés ) for press history at the Saint-Cyr military school . He is also a juror for the Prix ​​littéraire de l'armée de Terre - Erwan Bergot .

Guisnel published several books.
