The Prix ​​littéraire de l'armée de Terre - Erwan Bergot is a 6,000 euro French literary prize that is awarded annually by the French army . It was donated in 1995 in memory of Erwan Bergot , army officer and military writer. Works in French with a military-historical reference are awarded. Since 2011, works that have not been awarded a prize can also receive a “special mention”. The jury consists of the three full members Bertrand Ract-Madoux (Commander in Chief of the French Army), Jeannine Balland-Bergot and Bruno Louisfert . In addition, a total of thirteen jurors, high-ranking military officials and other personalities from civil public life, are elected for three years.
