Jean IV. De Bueil

Jean IV († October 25, 1415 at the Battle of Azincourt ) was lord of Bueil-en-Touraine . He was the son of Jean III. de Bueil from the Bueil house .

Jean IV was one of the friends and advisers of Ludwig I , Duke of Anjou . He became lieutenant general of Guyenne and in 1395 commander of the crossbowmen ( Maître des arbalétriers ) of the French army.

He married in 1404 Margarete Dauphine of Auvergne , the youngest daughter of Berald II Dauphin of Auvergne, mistress of Aubijoux , † after January 30, 1413, who became the heiress of the county of Sancerre .

His son was Jean V. de Bueil († 1477), Count of Sancerre and Admiral of France ; his daughter was Anne de Bueil, the wife of Pierre d'Amboise .
