Gabriel Charles Jean Le Bret (born October 26, 1872 in Paris , † December 23, 1947 there ) was a French sailor .

Jean Le Bret, who sailed for the Cercle de la Voile de Paris and the Yacht Club de France , took part in the 1900 Olympic Games in Paris , where he competed in three competitions. In the joint race, as a crew member of the Crabbe II, he failed to cross the finish line, while in the boat class 0.5 to 1 ton he made the podium twice. In the first race he finished second behind the Scotia from Great Britain and finished the second race behind the Pettit-Poucet and the Scamasaxe in third place. In all races the crew also consisted of Jacques Baudrier , Félix Marcotte and William Martin , the boat was skippered by Jules Valton .
