Henri Jules Valton (born May 11, 1867 in Courson-les-Carrières , † unknown) was a French sailor .

successes

Jules Valton, who sailed for the Cercle de la Voile de Paris , took part in the 1900 Olympic Games in Paris , where he competed in three competitions. In the joint race, as the skipper of the Crabbe II, he failed to cross the finish line, while he made it onto the podium twice in the 0.5 to 1 ton boat class . In the first race he finished second behind the Scotia from Great Britain and finished the second race behind the Pettit-Poucet and the Scamasaxe in third place. In all races the crew consisted of Jacques Baudrier , Jean Le Bret , Félix Marcotte and William Martin .

In the motorboat competitions , which were not part of the Olympic program, Valton came second in two races.
