Jeannine Pflugradt (born July 16, 1973 in Neustrelitz ) is a German industrial clerk and politician ( SPD ). She was a member of the German Bundestag from 2013 to 2017 .

Life

Jeannine Pflugradt grew up in her hometown and completed an apprenticeship as an industrial clerk after attending school. She then worked in her profession, most recently as an assistant to the management.

Pflugradt has been a member of the SPD since 2002 and has had a seat in the Neustrelitz city council since 2003, and as parliamentary group leader since 2009. She volunteers as deputy chairwoman of the board of the state center for renewable energies - Leea eV and is a board member of the family center Neustrelitz eV

MPs

In the 2013 federal election she received a mandate from the SPD's state list. Pflugradt was a full member of the Committee for Food and Agriculture as well as the Sports Committee , the Parliamentary Advisory Council for Sustainable Development and the Board of Trustees for Sport and Nature.

In the roll-call vote on the so-called third aid package for Greece on July 17, 2015 as part of the Greek sovereign debt crisis , Pflugradt voted against it as one of five SPD MPs (of 179 present).
