Everyone dies for himself is a radio play based on the novel of the same name by Hans Fallada . It was produced in 1986 by radio in the GDR under the direction of Werner Grunow .
The narrator is Gunter Schoß . The protagonists Mr. and Mrs. Quangel are spoken by Günter Naumann and Gudrun Ritter . Hans-Peter Minetti and Henry Hübchen can also be heard in other roles .
The GDR radio play received benevolent criticism after it was released on audio CD in 2011.
