Jeff Capello (born September 25, 1964 in Ottawa , Ontario ) is a former Canadian ice hockey player who was active during his active career for the Rochester Americans in the American Hockey League .

Career

Jeff Capello began his active career in the ice hockey team of the University of Vermont , for which he was from 1983 to 1987 in the National Collegiate Athletic Association in the service. During this time he completed 119 games in the regular season and posted 108 points scorer. He also received 128 penalty minutes. In the 1986 NHL Supplemental Draft , Capello was selected in the first round in overall second position by the Buffalo Sabers . However, he never played a game in the National Hockey League and ran in the following two seasons for the Rochester Americans in the American Hockey League on the ice. He then ended his active career.
