Jeffrey Goldberg
Jeffrey Goldberg (born September 22, 1965 in Brooklyn ) is an American journalist and author .
Life
Goldberg graduated from the University of Pennsylvania . During his studies he lived in Israel for a few years, where he worked for the Israeli military. Goldberg worked as a journalist for The Atlantic magazine from 2007 and has been its editor-in-chief since 2016; before that he worked from 2000 for the magazine The New Yorker . He sporadically writes articles for Slate magazine and has been a columnist for Bloomberg News since 2011 . In his articles, Goldberg writes in particular on foreign policy issues with a focus on Africa and the Middle East . He has been married to Pamela Ress Reeves since 1993. The couple has three children.
