The Jelení vrch (German Bönischberg ) is a mountain on the southern edge of the Giant Mountains in the Czech Republic . The Bönischberg is located about 2.5 km north of Černý Důl ( Schwarzenthal ) south of the striking Liščí hora (Fuchsberg). The Bönischberg is separated from the Fuchsberg massif in the north by the flat Rejdiště saddle with a height of approx. 985 meters. The other slopes are very high, the eastern one, which falls into the valley of the Silberbach ( Čistá ), is very steep. The Bönischberg extends with its southern foothills, the Spitzberg, to the Silberbach other foothills, separated by a hollow, the Finkenhübel to which the Schwarzenthal limestone quarries descend

The summit region of the Bönischberg is now unforested. There are no buildings on the top of the Bönischberg and its surroundings. A gas pipeline that feeds Pec pod Sněžkou runs directly above the surface of the earth.
