Jelena Šunjić (born January 4, 1994 in Metković ) is a Croatian volleyball player .

Career

Šunjić started her career at HOK Čapljina . Then she played for HAOK Mladost Zagreb and OK Marina Kaštela . In 2012 the diagonal attacker took part in the Junior European Championship with the Croatian offspring. In 2013 she began her studies at Bowling Green State University in the US state of Ohio and played on the university team. She received several individual awards. In July 2017, Šunjić made her debut in the Croatian national team , with which she subsequently participated in the World Grand Prix . At the same time she was signed by the German Bundesliga club Ladies in Black Aachen . With Aachen she reached the playoff semifinals . Then she left the club with an unknown destination.
