Jelle van Jaarsveld (born April 4, 1988 ) is a Dutch volleyball player .

Career

Van Jaarsveld was the Netherlands youth international from 2002 to 2007. He played for Martinus Amstelveen until 2007 and then moved to Ortec Rotterdam Nesselande . After finishing second in 2008, he won the Dutch championship in 2009. He then went to the Belgian league to Aquacare Halen . In 2011, the German Bundesliga team evivo Düren signed him as a short-term replacement for the injured player Tomas Kocian . After a season in Belgium with Topvolley Antwerp , van Jaarsveld returned to the German Bundesliga for Moerser SC in 2013 , but was released after a few months.

His older brother Sijme van Jaarsveld (* 1986) also plays volleyball successfully and was under contract with the German Bundesliga club RWE Volleys Bottrop from 2010 to 2012 .
