Jello is a subsidiary of the international corporation Leder und Schuh based in Graz . The first Jello shoe park was opened in 1989 in Wiener Neustadt . Seven years later, the company entered the market in Germany and in 2000 in Slovenia . In 2003, Jello was already represented with almost 100 branches in the three countries.
The company decided to relaunch the brand in 2006. Jello Schuhpark became the Jello Shoecompany with a new logo and a new market presence. Since then, the branches have been gradually transferred to the new concept, starting with Jello branch No. 1 in Wiener Neustadt in September 2007.
Jello has also been operating in Hungary since 2007 . In 2009 the company entered the Croatian market . Today Leder & Schuh AG has more than 350 branches in 11 European countries.
