GDR championships in biathlon 1984

The GDR biathlon championships were held for the 26th time in 1984 and took place from January 31 to February 4 in the Oberhof biathlon stadium on Rennsteig . In the Olympic year , Olympic participant Holger Wick became double champion in singles and sprints. It should be his only title in individual races. He also won silver with the relay of ASK Vorwärts Oberhof , SG Dynamo Zinnwald defended their title and was GDR champion for the 15th time. In the singles, Wick had to share the title with Matthias Jacob .
