GDR championships in biathlon 1965

The GDR biathlon championships were held for the eighth time in 1965 . There were three races each, in January in Zinnwald , in February in Oberhof and in March in Elterlein . Egon Schnabel won his first individual championship title. For the first time, a relay competition was held, which the biathletes of ASK Vorwärts Oberhof won.
