GDR championships in biathlon 1985

The GDR biathlon championships were held for the 27th time in 1985 and took place from March 13th to 17th in Oberwiesenthal . Frank-Peter Roetsch won both the individual and the sprint competition as well as the SG Dynamo Zinnwald relay and was thus a triple champion. Zinnwald defended his title from the previous year and was GDR champion for the 16th time.
